Required Text:

Finite Mathematics & Applied Calculus by Waner and Costenoble, 5th Edition. The nine-chapter single edition is for Math 1320 only. The fourteen-chapter combined edition is for students that will take both Math 1320 and Math 2301. New texts from the Bookstore are packaged with access codes for WebAssign (our online homework system). If you have a used text, please go http://www.webassign.net to purchase a separate access code for $??. The text can also be bought, for $?? per chapter, here: http://www.ichapters.com/ (Type "Waner, Costenoble" in the Basic Search.) This option would require a separate $?? purchase for WebAssign access.

Six Course Drop Policy:

Beginning with the fall 2007 semester, all freshmen enrolled for the first time at any Texas public college or university will be limited to six course withdrawals (drops) during their academic career. Drops include those initiated by students or faculty and withdrawals from courses at other institutions!! This policy does not apply to courses dropped prior to census day or to complete withdrawals from the university. When you register, see your advisor and choose your courses carefully. Before you drop a course, see your advisor, discuss options with your Profesor, and use campus resources such as tutoring, computer labs, etc. If you have any questions, please contact the Registration and Records Office at 747-5544 for more information.
